02— The studio

One person, a lot of care

Studio Labs Online LLC
est. 2026 · North Carolina

The name is the whole philosophy. Studio is the finished room: shipped tools, sweated details, software you can lean on without thinking about it. Labs is the messy room: the bench, the experiments, the ideas that may never leave the building.

Most companies pick one room and pretend the other does not exist. The polished ones hide their bench; the tinkerers never quite finish anything. Around here the conviction is that good software comes from keeping both rooms, and walking between them every day.

So that is what this is: a shelf of finished work, a bench of half-built ideas, and a door between them that never closes.

03— What we stand by

The parts you never see

The habits hold whether or not anyone is watching. Stand here a moment.

Hidden in the glyphs, eight lines surface in turn. We’re user zero: every tool gets daily use in the studio before it ships; rough edges get felt here first, and fixed here first. Tested, thousands of times: the core is covered by a headless suite that runs in seconds, against a corpus of real-world files. No dark patterns: we respect your attention; no nags, no guilt buttons, and each product says exactly what it does with your data. Plain language, everywhere: docs and guides are written in human words, not jargon; if a sentence needs a glossary, we rewrite the sentence. Ships when it’s ready: no deadline ever forced a half-done tool out the door; a release date is something we earn, not something we chase. Built to be kept: tools here are maintained, not churned; what you rely on today stays fixed, updated, and quietly cared for; no rug-pulls. We never sell your data: not to advertisers, not to brokers, not ever; the site keeps simple page counts, and that is where it ends. The reply comes from the builder: write in and the person who wrote the code answers you; no ticket queue theater, no tier-one script.

04— Under the hood

We sweat the details

3MF QuickView

macOS app

What it takes to preview a 3D model properly.

01
150 MB, in seconds

3MF QuickView reads a 9-million-triangle model in a few seconds, then hands Finder a clean preview.

02
A Zip64 unzip, by hand

We wrote our own, because real exporters emit Zip64 even for tiny files and off-the-shelf readers choked.

03
Colors, per triangle

Slicer and painted colors are decoded at triangle granularity, so you see the model the way it was made.

04
Zero network calls

The preview never phones home. It cannot: it runs sandboxed, with no network access at all.

List Tools

web suite

Rules that hold across every utility in the suite.

01
Everything client-side

List Tools runs entirely in your browser. No signup, nothing uploaded, nothing kept.

02
Natural sort, done right

Item 2 sorts before item 10, the way humans expect. Numbers inside text are treated as numbers.

03
Fair shuffles

Random picks use Fisher–Yates, so every item has an equal shot. No lazy bias in the deck.

04
18 case styles

From camelCase to Title Case, converted precisely. Acronyms and apostrophes survive the trip.
